SECA Code of Conduct |
All SECA Members must maintain a high ethical standard and may not engage in illegal, deceptive or immoral practices that could adversely affect the public’s confidence in SECA.
SECA Members shall not use their affiliation with SECA for their own pecuniary gain.
Some SECA Members serve as E-Rate consultants with specific E-Rate applicants in addition to being appointed State E-Rate Coordinators.
SECA Members shall not promote themselves as having special access to the FCC and/or USAC, having access to confidential
E-Rate information, or in any way implying that, due to their role as a State E-Rate Coordinator, they are uniquely qualified to serve as a consultant.
When in communication with the E-Rate administrator and/or the FCC, State E-Rate Coordinators should clarify when they are acting in their role as State Coordinators and when they are acting on behalf of specific fee-for-service applicants.
